Healthcare Procedure Education

Kids Collaborative offers education services for common healthcare procedures that your child may require on a daily basis to remain healthy and happy. This service is provided by Jodie Thompson, a qualified, caring and experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant for family members, carers, school SLSO's and anyone else requiring training who is involved with the care of your child. 

Education Services

This includes education on cares such as : 

• Skin & wound care
• Clean intermittent catheterisation
• Suprapubic catheter or indwelling catheter management
• Transanal irrigation for bowel care (bowel washouts)

This education may be delivered in collaboration, or in consultation with your child's medical or nursing teams within the hospital setting to ensure only the most appropriate care is delivered for your child.  Kids Collaborative is not representative of the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network however adopts their Homecare Guidelines when teaching healthcare procedures in the community to ensure best practice in paediatric care continues to be delivered in the community setting.

Prices

Prices for these services are quoted as Clinical Nurse Consultant Weekday Day Rate at $162/hr which is under the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements Guide.
